Whenever required by the Town Council, the Mayor, the head of a department or the Chairman or presiding officer of any board, division, authority, commission or committee shall, within 180 days of the effective date of any ordinance or resolution, report to the Town Council in writing concerning the action taken by the said Mayor, head of a department or Chairman or presiding officer respecting the implementation of said ordinance or resolution.
In the event the Town Council requires a written report as set forth in § 7-163 hereof, the ordinance or resolution shall provide that the provisions of § 7-163 of this chapter shall be complied with, and the title of the official to render said report shall be specifically designated.[1]
