Fees for police details must be paid by the party requesting
the same within 45 days after the issuance of a bill. In the event
that such fees remain unpaid after the expiration of the 45 days,
interest will accrue at a rate equivalent to that assessed for unpaid
taxes pursuant to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter
59, Section 57, as said provisions may from time to time be amended.
The Select Board may establish by policy any additional consequences
that can or will be imposed upon any party that fails to pay any fee
for a police detail within this forty-five-day period.
