The following shall be the fines for parking violations in the
City of West Haven:
A.
Group I, Penalty of $50:
(1)
Vehicle on crosswalk;
(2)
Beyond established time for area;
(3)
Vehicle on sidewalk;
(4)
Within 25 feet of corner;
(5)
Within 25 feet of stop sign;
(6)
More than 12 inches away from curb;
(7)
Wrong side of curb;
(8)
Obstructing driveway;
(9)
Parking within 10 feet of a clearly visible residential mailbox,
which is located directly adjacent to curbside or on a public right-of-way,
between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., except on Sundays and
holidays.

Group III, Penalty of $100:
D.
Group IV, Penalty of $150:
(1)
In handicapped parking space or area without official area handicapped
notice.
E.
If the penalty for any violation is not paid within 21 days of the
issuance of a parking ticket, said penalty shall double.
