No building erected or structurally altered shall be used, occupied,
or changed in use until a certificate of occupancy and compliance
is issued by the Administrative Official, stating that the building
or proposed use of the building or premises complies with the building
laws and provisions of this code. The Administrative Official shall
keep a record of all certificates of occupancy and compliance. The
Administrative Official may revoke a certificate of occupancy and
compliance when it is found that the building or land does not conform
to the use or condition, if any, in the certificate. Each day a use
continues after revocation of the certificate shall constitute a separate
offense and shall be punished as provided therein.
