The following rental rates shall be in effect for those desiring
to use the facilities at the Montague Township Community Center ("Community
Center"):
A. Category I. There shall be no charge for resident meetings, provided
such meetings concern community affairs, do not involve fundraising,
and are not conducted primarily for the purpose of entertainment.
For such meetings, the Township shall solicit donations from the meeting
organizers and participants.
B. Category II. For an event taking place on any nonholiday Monday,
Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, there shall be a $100 charge for
residents, and a $200 charge for nonresidents.
C. Category III. For an event taking place on any Friday, Saturday,
or Sunday, or on any holiday, there shall be a $150 charge for residents,
and a $300 charge for nonresidents.
D. Category IV. For an event taking place on any nonholiday Monday,
Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday and conducted by a nonprofit organization,
there shall be no charge, provided the organization is based in the
Township, and there shall be a $100 charge, provided the organization
is not based in the Township.
E. Category V. For an event taking place on any Friday, Saturday, or
Sunday, or on any holiday, and conducted by a nonprofit organization,
there shall be a $100 charge, provided the organization is based in
the Township, and a $200 charge, provided the organization is not
based in the Township.
F. Category VI. For an event taking place over the course of three days,
there shall be a $400 charge for residents, and an $800 charge for
nonresidents.
G. Security deposit. For any event held at the Community Center, a $300
security deposit shall be paid to the Township, which deposit the
Township shall be entitled to use for the repair of any damage caused
by said event, and the unused portion of which the Township shall
be required to refund to the payor. Township-based non-profit organizations,
youth groups, and the Montague Township Seniors Group shall be exempted
from the requirement to pay the security deposit.
