Effective as of July 1, 2020, the Collier Township Sewer Department
("Sewer Department") is established as a division of the Township
Public Works Department. The executive official directly in charge
of the Sewer Department shall be the Director of Public Works.
A.
The Sewer Department shall be in charge of operating the public sanitary
sewer system ("system") within the Township in accordance with the
First Class Township Code and this Code of Ordinances and, with respect
to all sanitary sewer facilities assumed by the Township from the
Authority, shall direct and be responsible for the operations, activities
and duties formerly carried out by the Authority with respect to such
system.
