As used in the resolutions and regulations included in this
Manual, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
The Allegheny County Sanitary Authority.
The Collier Township Municipal Authority.
The appointed and elected members of the Board of the Collier
Township Municipal Authority, as now or hereafter constituted, and
its duly authorized agents or representatives.
The Collier Township Municipal Authority, Allegheny County,
Pennsylvania, duly organized under the laws of the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania by the Board of Commissioners of the Township of Collier
in accordance with the act now known as the Municipality Authorities
Act, Act 2001, June 19, 2001, P.L. 287, No. 22, § 4, 53
Pa.C.S.A. § 5601 et seq.
The Collier Township Municipal Authority.
Any connection, or the existence of any connection, of any
structure to the Collier Township Sanitary Sewer system that (1) is
made without approval from CTMA, ACHP or DEP, as applicable, (2) does
not conform to the Allegheny County Plumbing Codes or the CTMA rules
and regulations, or (3) is prohibited by law, such as any connection
that conveys basement seepage, groundwater, stormwater, or surface
water, including sump pump drainage, downspout drainage, foundation
drainage, and driveway drainage, including flammable or volatile liquids,
into the sanitary sewer system.
