The purpose of the i-District Overlay District is to attract
a talented workforce, create an accessible job center, and encourage
sustainable infrastructure and livable communities in an area where
job opportunities, vibrant neighborhoods, mixed-use developments,
walkable/bicycle-friendly streets, multiple transportation options,
public spaces, and small and large businesses come together to revitalize
and sustain the Village's downtown.
