The Mayor shall nominate and, subject to the approval of the
Council, shall appoint up to five citizens of the Borough of South
Plainfield to be member of the Health Advisory Board for the Borough
of South Plainfield.
The members of the Health Advisory Board shall be appointed
for a term of three yeas until such time as their successors are appointed
and qualified; however, the initial term of the members shall be as
follows: two such members for a term of three years; two members for
a term of two years; and one member for a term of one year.
Vacancies occurring in the Health Advisory Board, either at
the expiration of a term or otherwise, shall be filled by the appointment
of the Mayor subject to the approval of the Council.
