GENERAL REFERENCES
Boat rentals — See Ch. 145.
No person shall bathe nor engage in any type of boating activity whatsoever
for an area one-fourth (1/4) mile upstream of the Great Falls.
The Director of the Department of Public Works is directed to post a
large sign on the McBride Avenue bridge upstream of the dam and two (2) smaller
signs one-fourth (1/4) mile upstream of the Great Falls, one (1) on each side
of the river bank, informing the public of such prohibition.
Any person who violates any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction
thereof, be subject to a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars ($1,000.),
by imprisonment for a term not exceeding ninety (90) days or by a period of
community service for not more than ninety (90) days, or any combination thereof.
