Editor's Note: This ordinance superseded former Ch. 166, Open Space
and Recreation Land Acquisition, adopted 8-21-2001 by Ord No. 16-01.
The purpose of this chapter is to establish a minimum annual appropriation
for open space and recreation land acquisition and associated costs, i.e.,
legal, appraisal, survey and engineering, in order to provide a guaranteed
source of funds to match Green Acres funding.
A minimum amount of 0.005 on the tax rate shall be reflected as a line
item in the Borough's annual budgets.
The line item budget appropriation shall be maintained for a period
of 10 years from the effective date of this chapter.
