A.
Purpose. The purpose of this article is to establish policies and
procedures for the collection of fees associated with the performance
of marriage or civil union ceremonies by the Mayor.
A.
B.
Compensation.
(1)
Receipt of fees. The fee shall be paid by check, payable to the Borough
of Ridgefield. Fees collected shall be deposited into the Borough's
trust fund.
(2)
Disbursement of fees for service shall be disbursed to the Mayor
through the appropriate payment procedures through the trust fund
at the same amount that was paid by the persons who were married by
the Mayor.
