As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings
indicated:
Any club, individual, individuals, firm, partnership, association
or corporation.
Any club, room, place, premises, store or establishment in which
more than one (1) pool table or billiard table shall be established, operated
or maintained for the purpose of gain or profit by any person.
No persons, as herein defined, shall establish, operate or maintain
any poolroom, billiard room or parlor, as herein defined, within the limits
of the Borough of Ridgefield, in the County of Bergen and State of New Jersey.
Any person who shall violate the provisions of this chapter shall, upon
conviction thereof, be subject to a fine not exceeding two hundred dollars
($200.) or be confined to the county jail for a term not exceeding ninety
(90) days, or both, in the discretion of the Magistrate of the Municipal Court.
