The Water Department heretofore established
and known as the "Township of East Hanover Water Department" is hereby
continued.
The Water Department shall be under the supervision,
management and control of the Township Committee.
The Township Committee of the Township shall
have the power and authority to employ such officers and employees
as in its opinion shall be required to adequately and effectively
operate the Water Department.
The salaries or other compensation of the officers
and employees of the Water Department shall be fixed by the Township
Committee and shall be included in the salary Ordinance providing
and determining the rate of compensation of officers and employees
of the Township.[1]
