For the purposes of this chapter, the following
words and phrases shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to
them by this section:
Any building or structure constructed and designed or used
for dwelling purposes, either temporary or permanent, or other use
or occupancy by persons.
Any sewer or main designed or used for collection or disposal
of sanitary sewage and located in any public street in the Borough.
The owner of any building located upon any public
street in the Borough in which a sewer is constructed or shall be
constructed shall connect such building and every toilet therein with
such sewer, provided that the building is within 300 feet of the connection
point.
All sewer specifications will be in accordance
with the current standards adopted by the Florham Park Sewerage Authority.[1]
If the owner of any property in the Borough
shall fail to make any connection or installation required by this
chapter within the time required, the Borough may proceed to make
such connection or installation or cause the same to be made and charge
and assess the cost thereof against such property, pursuant to the
authority of N.J.S.A. 40:63-54.
