[HISTORY: Adopted by the Borough Council of the Borough of Carteret
12-15-1970 as Sec. 6-3 of the 1970 Revised Ordinances, as amended through

Provisions, Art. I. Other amendments noted where applicable.]
All barbershops located and doing business in the borough shall be open
to the public between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. every day except
Wednesday and Sunday.
A.
Barbershops shall be closed all day on New Year's Day,
Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas
Day. They shall be open six (6) full days during Easter week but shall be
closed on Easter Monday.

Violation of the provisions of this chapter shall be punishable by a
fine not exceeding twenty-five dollars ($25.) or imprisonment for a term not
exceeding ten (10) days.
