As used in this Article, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
ENTERTAINMENT FACILITIES
Those establishments within the Borough of Carteret wherein adult live entertainment is offered to the public irrespective of whether the entertainment is dance, music, theater or any type and whether or not alcoholic beverages are sold or consumed. Excepted from the definition contained herein is any religious, civic or eleemosynary organization or group which may from time to time sponsor a live entertainment project or dance.
In any entertainment facility, as defined in § 126-1, the proprietor shall provide at least one (1) uniformed security officer in order to protect the public good and welfare.
Any entertainment facility that violates any provisions of this Article shall be subject to a fine of five hundred dollars ($500.) per violation and, in the event such establishment is licensed to sell alcoholic beverages, to a suspension or revocation of such license for such period of time as the Borough Council shall deem appropriate for the violation of this Article.
