Any applicant who requests the issuance, reissuance or renewal of any license or permit issued by, or requiring the approval of, the Mayor and Township Council, or of any agency or department of the Township which issues permits, shall be required to pay any delinquent property taxes or assessment, if he is the owner of the property where the activity for which the license or permit is sought to be conducted.
Any license or permit issued by the Mayor and Township Council, or any agency, official or department thereof, may be revoked by the Mayor and Township Council, when any licensee or permittee who is the owner of the property upon which the licensed or permitted activity is conducted shall have failed to pay the taxes due on the property for at least three quarters of the year. Upon proof of payment of all delinquent taxes, any such revoked license or permit shall be restored by resolution of the Mayor and Township Council.
The provisions of this article shall not apply to any license or permit issued pursuant to the Alcoholic Beverage Control Act.[1]
