A. 
If submitted as part of an application for subdivision or site plan approval, no additional fees shall be charged under this chapter. In all other cases, a fee of $250 shall be paid with the application to cover the costs of the initial review for the purpose of determining whether a soil erosion and sediment control plan is necessary.[1]

B. 
All expenses for legal, engineering or planning work required by the Township in connection with the enforcement of this chapter shall be paid for by the applicant who shall deposit a sum equal to 5% of the estimated cost of all soil erosion and sediment control measures required pursuant to this chapter, but in no case less than $250.
C. 
Should the actual costs to the Township be less than the amount of said deposit, any surplus shall be returned to the applicant, and the applicant shall be responsible for payment of any such costs which exceed the amount of said deposit.
