[HISTORY: Adopted by the Town Council (now City Council) of the Town
(now City) of Glenarden 10-12-1976 as Ch.
3 of the 1976 Code; amended in its entirety 11-9-1998 by Ord.
No. O-20-98. Subsequent amendments noted where applicable.]
Unless otherwise provided herein, the City Council hereby adopts as
the animal control regulations within the City the Animal Control Ordinance
of Prince George's County, as from time to time amended.
All dogs must be under control by a leash, cord or chain at all times,
unless said animal is confined within a secure area.
Violation of any provision of this chapter shall be deemed a municipal
infraction and shall be punishable by a fine of $25 for the first violation
and $50 for any subsequent violations.
