A.
Notwithstanding any other provision or law to the contrary, the Commissioner
of the Suffolk County Department of Public Works shall designate and
properly identify five spaces for the sole and exclusive use of veterans
receiving care at the new East End Veterans Administration Health
Clinic at the Riverhead County Center.
B.
The spaces so designated for parking by veterans shall, to the extent
practicable, be located in the immediate vicinity of the clinic's
main entrance, and the Commissioner is directed to install appropriate
signs and pavement markings. The spaces designated for veterans will
be in addition to those designated for use by the handicapped.
