The following rules and regulations are hereby established for the management and protection of all parks in the Borough of Darby:
A. 
A park shall be open daily to the public between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., at which closing time all activities in a park shall cease and all persons in a park shall leave as soon as possible thereafter. No person other than authorized employees shall be in a park at any time between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.
B. 
No person shall injure, deface, remove, cut or damage any of the trees, plants, shrubs, turf, buildings, structures or fixtures therein or any other property of the Borough located within a park.
C. 
No person shall remove any bench, seat or table from a park or change the location thereof without permission from the Borough of Darby.

D. 
No person shall conduct himself within a park so as to annoy any other person using a park for recreational purposes.
E. 
No person shall hold any meeting or gathering, assembled through advertisement or public notice, or any gathering otherwise assembled and composed of 25 or more persons, within the limits of a park, without having first made application to the Borough of Darby in a park where such gathering or meeting shall be held, and such gathering shall not be held at any other spot within a park. The application for such permit shall be in the name of a person who shall be responsible for seeing that all refuse left by the group shall be placed in proper containers before leaving the park.

F. 
No person shall set up any booth, table or stand for the sale of any article whatsoever within the limits of a park without the consent of the Borough of Darby, which shall have authority to refuse such consent in any instance.

G. 
No person shall dispose of any waste or garbage in a park except in receptacles designated for the respective purposes. All persons using a park shall dispose of all waste and garbage left by them in such proper receptacles.
H. 
No person shall injure, deface or destroy any notice, rule or regulation posted at any place within a park by authority of the Borough of Darby or any other authority of the Borough. Nor shall any person post at any place within a park any notice or placard other than by authority of the Borough of Darby.

I. 
No person shall set or maintain any fire in a park except in stoves and fireplaces maintained for the purpose and located by authority of the Borough of Darby.

J. 
No person shall bring any spirituous liquor into a park either for his own use or for the use of any other person.
K. 
No person other than an officer of the law shall carry any firearm within the limits of a park, nor shall any person engage in hunting and fishing from within a park.

Any person who shall violate any provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be punishable by a fine of not more than $300 and costs of such proceedings or, upon default of payment of such fines and costs, by imprisonment in the county jail for a term of not more than 30 days. The continuation of such violation for each successive day shall constitute a separate offense, and the person or persons allowing or permitting the continuation of the violation may be punished as provided above for each separate offense.
