It is hereby declared to be and shall be unlawful for any person or persons within the corporate limits of the Village of Canajoharie to follow the trade or occupation or to be engaged in the pursuit of the keeping of a billiard or pool parlor, bowling alley or other place of amusement for money or hire or for the giving of exhibitions, performances or entertainment in any place where liquor is sold or drunk under regulation by the State Liquor Authority, without first having obtained from the Mayor of the Village a license therefor and having paid the license fee as provided on the fee schedule available at the Village offices, to be due and payable in advance.
A violation of the foregoing chapter or any section thereof shall be punishable by a fine of not more than $250 or by imprisonment in the county jail for not more than 15 days, or both such fine and imprisonment.
