Since the Town does not favor an employee holding
another job in addition to his regular one with the Town (particularly
if there is a possibility that the other job would interfere with
his satisfactory performance as a Town employee), no employee may
take any outside employment without first securing the permission
of the appointing authority. In the case of the Fire Company, the
advice and recommendation of the Fire Commission shall be obtained
by the appointing authority.
