B.
Local deliveries to homes located on those Township
streets on which this chapter imposes a seven and one-half ton weight
limit shall be exempt from the weight restriction imposed by this
chapter.
C.
Required
permit, over-posted-weight vehicle and excess maintenance agreement.
Where it is determined that a vehicle operator will be utilizing over-posted-weight
vehicles to supply and service a site, an over-posted-weight hauling
permit shall be required. Prior to the issuance of such permit, the
operator and the Township shall conduct an on-site inspection of the
posted roads to be utilized and enter into an excess maintenance agreement
in a form acceptable to the Township. The operator shall post a bond
to guarantee maintenance and restoration of Township streets. In addition
to the bond requirement, such excess maintenance agreement shall include
the operator undertaking the responsibility to pay for all excessive
road maintenance costs and repair the road as required by Township
Code and Pennsylvania law. The permit application, and any amended
permit application, shall be accompanied by a fee as established by
resolution of the Board of Supervisors of Brighton Township.

In accordance with the provisions of § 189-15, gross weight limits of 10 tons are hereby established as indicated for commercial vehicles or other tractor, trailer or tractor-trailer combinations, upon the streets, bridges or portions thereof described below, except for the purpose of making local deliveries on said streets, bridges or portions thereof:

Local
deliveries to homes located on those Township streets on which this
chapter imposes a ten-ton weight limit shall be exempt from the weight
restriction imposed by this chapter.
C.
The
fines for violation of this section shall be in accordance with the
Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Code (75 Pa.C.S.A. § 4902).

The following ordinances of Brighton Township
are hereby repealed in their entirety for the reason that the content
of these ordinances is incorporated in the foregoing ordinance.
A.
Ordinance No. 57 enacted August 9, 1976, prohibiting
parking on both sides of a portion of Tuscarawas Road.
B.
Ordinance No. 93 enacted September 11, 1995, prohibiting
parking on the north side of Gypsy Glen Road.
C.
Ordinance No. 101 enacted December 8, 1997, prohibiting
parking on the north side of Westview Drive.
D.
Ordinance No. 106 enacted July 13, 1998, prohibiting
parking on the north side of a portion of Tuscarawas Road.
E.
Ordinance No. 111 enacted November 8, 1999, establishing
a speed limit of 25 miles per hour on all Township streets.
F.
Ordinance No. 118 enacted July 9, 2001, establishing
a weight limit of 7.5 tons on designated Township streets.
Any ordinance, or part thereof, inconsistent
with or in conflict with the provisions of this chapter is hereby
repealed.
