When blasting agents are transported in the same vehicle with explosives, all of the requirements of Article IV shall apply.
Vehicles transporting blasting agents shall
be in safe operating condition at all times.
Every vehicle transporting blasting agents shall
be marked or placarded on both sides, front and rear, with the word
"Dangerous" and also the words "Blasting Agents," in letters not less
than three inches (76 millimeters) high on a contrasting background.
Oils, matches, firearms, acids or other corrosive
liquids shall not be carried in the body of any vehicle transporting
blasting agents.
A person shall not be permitted to ride upon,
drive, load or unload a vehicle containing blasting agents while smoking
or under the influence of intoxicants or narcotics.
