1, Part 2B, of the 1996 Code). Amendments noted where applicable.]
The Council of the Borough of Jersey Shore is
hereby authorized to appoint, by resolution prior to the close of
each fiscal year, an independent auditor who shall be a certified
public accountant, registered in Pennsylvania, or a firm of certified
public accountants so registered, who shall make an independent examination
of the accounting records of the Borough for such fiscal year, and
who shall also perform the other duties and exercise the powers as
conferred upon him by the Borough Code.
