From and after July 1, 2009, all full-time employees hired by the Borough of Dravosburg shall, as a condition of employment, be residents of the Borough of Dravosburg at the time of hire and maintain their residency in the Borough of Dravosburg throughout the remainder of their employment with the Borough of Dravosburg.
All full-time employees of the Borough of Dravosburg, hired on or before June 30, 2009, who are current residents of the Borough of Dravosburg shall maintain residency in the Borough of Dravosburg throughout their employment with the Borough of Dravosburg as a condition of employment, and such employees shall not be permitted to remove their residency from the Borough of Dravosburg.
All full-time employees of the Borough of Dravosburg hired on or before June 30, 2009, and who are not residents of the Borough of Dravosburg as of June 30, 2009, must become residents of the Borough of Dravosburg on or before December 31, 2010, as a condition of employment and, when such employees become residents of the Borough of Dravosburg, they shall not be permitted to remove their residency from the Borough of Dravosburg.
As used in this article, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
FULL-TIME EMPLOYEE OF THE BOROUGH OF DRAVOSBURG
An employee who is ordinarily scheduled for work five days per week and a minimum of six hours per day.
Any person who violates the provisions of this article, or fails to abide by the residency requirements of this article, shall be subject to immediate termination for cause as an employee of the Borough of Dravosburg. Prior to such termination of employment for cause, the employee shall be given seven days' calendar notice by the Borough of Dravosburg of his or her purported violation of this article, and such employee must then respond, in writing, to such notice of purported violation within such seven-day period. If the employee fails to respond, in writing, within such seven-day period, then such employee shall be immediately terminated for cause as an employee of the Borough of Dravosburg. If the employee does respond, in writing, to such purported violation within such seven-day period, and denies such violation, then such employee shall be entitled to a hearing before the Council of the Borough of Dravosburg concerning such purported violation prior to any termination of employment for cause by the Borough of Dravosburg.

The Borough of Dravosburg hereby requires all full-time Borough employees hired from and after March 1, 2011, to have the minimum educational requirements of a High School Diploma or a General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
