It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to commit any of the following acts within the Borough of Dravosburg, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, which are declared to be nuisances:
A. 
To place, cause to be placed or permit to remain upon the streets or alleys or upon any private or public grounds any abandoned or junked automobile, truck or other vehicle.
B. 
To carry on or cause to be carried on any noxious or offensive manufacture, art, trade or business.
C. 
To erect, cause to be erected or permit to remain erected upon any public or private grounds any dangerous structure or building.
Any person, firm or corporation who shall commit a nuisance as declared and set forth and who shall fail to abate same after 10 days' notice in writing from the Borough Council or its designated agent to do so, shall, upon conviction thereof before the Mayor or District Justice, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $1,000 and costs of prosecution for each offense, and in default of payment of such fine and costs, to imprisonment in the Allegheny County Jail for a period not to exceed 30 days.

In addition to the penalties provided in § 195-2 above, the Borough Council shall have the power, in default of the abatement of the nuisance by the person, firm or corporation involved, after written notice as hereinabove set forth, to cause the necessary work to be done to accomplish said abatement and collect the cost together with a penalty of 10% of such cost in the manner provided by law for the collection of municipal claims, or by action of assumpsit, or may seek relief by bill in equity.
