The first election district of the Sixth Ward shall include that part
of the city lying within the following boundaries: Beginning at a point on
the center line of Grand Street at a point where the said line intersects
the center line of North Main Street; running thence northerly along the center
line of North Main Street to a point thereon where the center line of North
Main Street produced northerly intersects the center line of West Eighth Avenue;
running thence westerly along the center line of West Eighth Avenue to a point
thereon where the center line of West Eighth Avenue produced westerly intersects
the center line of West Street; running thence southeasterly along the center
line of West Street to a point thereon where the center line of West Street
produced southeasterly intersects the center line of Lincoln Street; running
thence easterly along the center line of Lincoln Street to a point thereon
where the center line of Lincoln Street produced easterly intersects the center
line of Washburn Street; running thence southerly along the center line of
Washburn Street to a point thereon where the center line of Washburn Street
produced southerly intersects the center line of Grand Street; running thence
easterly along the center line of Grand Street to a point thereon where the
center line of Grand Street produced easterly intersects the center line of
North Main Street and being the point and place of beginning.
The second election district of the Sixth Ward shall include that part
of the city lying within the following boundaries: Beginning at a point on
the center line of West Eighth Avenue at point where the said line intersects
the center line of North Main Street; running thence northerly along the center
line of North Main Street to a point where the center line of North Main Street
produced northerly intersects the boundary of the corporation line of the
City of Gloversville and the Town of Johnstown; running thence westerly and
southwesterly along the corporation line to a point where said line produced
southwesterly intersects the center line of West Street; running thence southeasterly
along the center line of West Street to a point thereon where the center line
of West Street produced southeasterly intersects the center line of West Eighth
Avenue; running thence easterly along the center line of West Eighth Avenue
to a point thereon where the center line of West Eighth Avenue produced easterly
interests the center line of North Main Street and being the point and place
of beginning.
