Rabies is epizootic in Hunterdon County. It is imperative that animals which have bitten humans be appropriately quarantined so as to determine if individuals exposed require treatment to prevent rabies.
Any dog or cat or any other domesticated animal whose owner resides in the Township, which has not been inoculated against rabies and which has bitten any human, shall be confined at a veterinary hospital of the owner's choosing for a period of not less than 10 days.
