The Planning Board is authorized and empowered to approve or
disapprove, in its discretion, plats showing streets or the widening
thereof or parks or subdivision of land, and it is the duty of the
Town Clerk to file with the register of deeds of Rockingham County
a certificate of notice showing that said Planning Board has been
so authorized, giving the date of such authorization.
