The right to purchase and consume alcoholic beverages in the City of Brigantine shall be extended to persons 21 years of age.
Any purchase or attempted purchase of alcoholic beverages by person not meeting the age criteria of § 91-7, whether the same is to be consumed on the premises or not, is hereby prohibited, and any person violating this section shall be deemed a disorderly person.
Any person not meeting the age criteria in § 91-7 who shall attempt to purchase any alcoholic beverages in the City of Brigantine by use of false documents or representations shall be deemed a disorderly person.
Any person under the age criteria of § 91-7 who shall have in his or her possession any altered or false document or documents for the purpose of identification and/or establishing the age of said person shall be deemed a disorderly person.
Any person who misrepresents his or her age to any police officer or special officer of the City of Brigantine in connection with the purchase and/or consumption of any alcoholic beverages shall be deemed a disorderly person.
Any person who shall permit the use of his or her documents by any person under the age criteria of § 91-7 for the purpose of securing the purchase of alcoholic beverages in the City of Brigantine shall be deemed a disorderly person.

The Municipal Court of the City of Brigantine shall have jurisdiction over this article. Unless otherwise provided for in N.J.S.A. 33:1-81, any person who is convicted of violating any provision of this article shall be subject to a fine not exceeding $1,000 or imprisonment for not more than 90 days, or both. The above penalties will be in addition to any and all penalties which may be imposed pursuant to N.J.S.A. 33:1-81 or other applicable statutes.
