A.
The duly elected and constituted Mayor of the City of Ventnor may
perform marriages and civil unions as provided by law.
B.
Fees shall be forwarded to the finance department for deposit into
the current fund as Miscellaneous Revenue-Not anticipated.
C.
Collection of fees, persons seeking to be married or joined in civil union by the Mayor shall remit the applicable fee in the amount set forth in Chapter 114, Fee Schedule.

D.
There is hereby authorized disbursement of $100 payable to the Mayor
after each Marriage and Civil Ceremony and the reimbursement shall
be made by voucher with the appropriate documentation.

All ordinances and parts of ordinances inconsistent herewith
are hereby appealed.
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase of portion
of this chapter is for any reason held invalid or unconstitutional
by a Court or competent jurisdiction, such portion shall be deemed
a separate, distinct and independent provision, and such holding shall
not affect the validity of the remaining portions hereof.
This chapter shall take effect upon final passage, adoption
and publication in the manner prescribed by law.
