A.
Receipt of fees. The fee shall be paid by cash or money order to the Township of Riverside. Fees collected shall be deposited into the Township's current fund. In consideration of the time, preparation, clothing costs, mileage and related expenses incurred, 1/2 of the fee shall be payable to the Mayor or Deputy Mayor that performed the service. To the extent that the Salary Ordinance[1] of the municipality provides a set salary for these positions, this article amends the Salary Ordinance to include and allow for the disbursement of these additional fees, as the performance of ceremonies is discretionary and not a mandated responsibility of the positions.
