From and after the passage of this article, all moneys due and owing the Borough of Hanover for licenses, privileges, rents, fees, permits and taxes shall be paid to the Borough Secretary, who shall give a proper receipt, license or permit covering the same and who shall countersign all licenses granted, including those heretofore countersigned by the Borough Treasurer, and the said Secretary shall pay the same over to the Borough Treasurer and take his receipt therefor.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent herewith, particularly Ordinance No. 132 and No. 180, requiring licenses to be countersigned by the Borough Treasurer, be and the same are hereby repealed insofar as they are inconsistent with the provisions of this article.
