Pursuant to Section 40:67-16.9 of the Revised Statutes of New
Jersey, the governing body does hereby authorize the Mayor of the
Township of Riverside to promulgate regulations for the closing of
any street or portion thereof to motor vehicle traffic on any day
or days or during specified hours on any day or days whenever the
Mayor finds that such closing is necessary for the preservation of
public safety, health and welfare of the inhabitants of the Township.
