The attached amendment and restatement of the Borough of Hanover Police Pension Plan is enacted. The Borough Manager, as the agent of the employer, is hereby authorized and directed to execute the attached amendment and restatement of the plan.[1]
Resolution No. 927, adopted 12-23-2009, authorized officers
of the Borough to amend the pension plan in order to comply with Act
600 of 1956 (53 P.S. § 767 et seq.), as amended by Act 51 of
2009, the Emergency and Law Enforcement Personnel Death Benefits Act
(53 P.S. § 891 et seq.).
Pursuant to Act 600, as amended, the Borough sets employee contributions to the Police Pension Plan by resolution. (See Section 6.2 of the Plan.) Said resolutions are on file in the Borough offices.
