A.
New appointees to the City of Camden Planning Board and the Zoning
Board of Adjustment shall complete a training program within one year
of appointment to the Board.
B.
Present members of the City of Camden Planning Board and the Zoning
Board of Adjustment shall complete a training program within one year
of final passage of the ordinance.
Said training program shall be under the direction of the Planning
Director. It shall consist of a minimum three-hour course conducted
by the City of Camden Office of Planning, the New Jersey Planning
Officials, Rutgers University, or other planning discipline approved
by the Planning Director, plus a home study course administered by
the Planning Director.
With the exception of the Class I member of the Planning Board,
the Mayor, failure of a member to complete the training program within
the prescribed period may be cause for removal from the Board under
the provisions of N.J.S.A. 40:55D.
The provisions of this article shall apply to all members of
the Zoning Board of Adjustment and Class II, III and IV members of
the Planning Board.
