The establishment of the Walt Whitman Historic District is hereby authorized.
Historic District Boundaries are intended to follow property and street lines as they exist on plats of record at the time of passage of this article. The Historic District shall include Block 267, Lots 14, 15, 17 and 18 and Block 269, Lots 64 and 65 as shown as the dark shaded areas on the attached map, entitled "Schedule D, Walt Whitman Historic District."[1]

The basic guidelines for rehabilitation in the Walt Whitman Historic District are the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Historic Preservation, which have been previously adopted by the City of Camden as part of City Ordinance No. MC-1925 and which are specifically incorporated herein by reference.[1]
