Unclassified full-time employees and officeholders of the City of Perth Amboy shall be entitled to all the rights and privileges of employees and officeholders in the classified service of the city, including holidays, annual leave for vacation purposes and accumulation thereof, absence on militia or military duty, sick leave and accumulation thereof and credit for all continuous full-time service which such unclassified employees or officeholders shall have served, whether the same shall have been served under temporary or permanent appointment in an office, position or employment in the classified or unclassified service of the city, as provided by Title 11 of the Revised Statutes of New Jersey and any amendments or supplements thereto.

A. 
Any individual initially elected or appointed after December 31, 2011 to an office or position in the City of Perth Amboy that is less than a full-time, paid office or position shall not be eligible for the city's health care coverage.
B. 
The disqualification of Section 85-1.1A shall not apply to any individual elected or appointed to an office or position prior to December 31, 2011, who thereafter holds that same office or position continuously by virtue of successive re-election or reappointment.
C. 
No part-time elected or appointed official shall be eligible for retiree health insurance coverage provided by the City of Perth Amboy.
D. 
No elected official, whether full-time or part-time, shall be eligible for payment of any accumulated and unused sick, vacation or personal days upon the conclusion of their elected term with the City of Perth Amboy.
