Editor's Note: This chapter was originally adopted by the Board of Health, which was abolished when the Town changed to the Commission form of government under the Walsh Act, N.J.S.A. 40:70-1 et seq. It is the Board of Commissioners' intent that this chapter should continue in full force and effect as if originally adopted by the governing body and all amendments to the chapter were adopted by the Board of Commissioners. Specific provision for the continuation of legislation adopted by the Board of Health has been included in the legislation adopting the Code; see Ch. 1, General Provisions, Art. I.

As used in this chapter, the following terms
shall have the meanings indicated:
The Board of Commissioners of the Town of West New York.
The permission in writing of this Board issued in accordance
with this chapter.
Includes such special regulations as the Board may promulgate
from time to time.
