[HISTORY: Adopted by the Township Committee of the Township

There is hereby established a Local Assistance Board to provide
public assistance to persons eligible thereto.

The Local Assistance Board shall be composed of five (5) members
at least one (1) of whom shall be a woman.

The term of a member of the Local Assistance Board shall be
for four (4) years, one (1) expiring in each year. The term of each
member shall begin on the first day of January and each member shall
remain in office until his successor shall be appointed and shall
qualify. Vacancies shall be filled for the unexpired terms.
The members of the Local Assistance Board shall serve without
compensation but shall be allowed their necessary and actual expenses.
